This split arrangement - with the bedrooms separated by the kitchen - makes Boardwalk Beachhouse a great (and rare!) option for two couples or a small family seeking a bit of privacy.
Meanwhile, outside, the namesake boardwalk deck feels like a beachside bar right in your own backyard.
A DAY AT BOARDWALK BEACHHOUSE
Begin the day with a shoreline stroll: The Boardwalk cottage is located just 1000 feet from the Gulf on the Pinellas Beaches. Even better, you can take your pup on a walk with you - Boardwalk Beachhouse is pet-friendly!
Boaters and fishing folks in your group will love the nearby boat put-in and the intracoastal fishing pier just across the street. When they return with the day's catch (whether from their own fishing pole or one of Treasure Island's fresh seafood markets), fire up the BBQ grill and dig in at your pick of umbrella-shaded outdoor tables.
In addition to the boardwalk deck, there's also a paver patio with outdoor furnishings tucked under a sail shade. Both outdoor spaces feature reed fencing and lush landscaping for total privacy. The master bedroom has private access to the patio for morning coffee or evening cocktails.
At Boardwalk Beachhouse, outdoor living is strongly encouraged. But we understand if you want to spend some time indoors in the A/C, too. Prep dinner in the fully equipped kitchen with new granite counters. Then gather around the kitchen's custom, 4-person dining table for dinner and an after-dinner card game.
Beach towels need a refresher? No problem - there is a stacked washer and dryer just off the master bedroom.
WHY WE LOVE THE BOARDWALK
Andy and Carol have applied their signature, vintage beach-cottage style to Boardwalk Beachhouse, with several handmade and reclaimed pieces throughout. Check out the custom pub table Andy handcrafted from an antique jack, the master bed's headboard, which was made from planks from an old fishing boat, and a bedroom table with an antique tile cutter as its base.
This location is great, too - close to the beach but with hardly any beach traffic. 5 minute walk. There's even room for 1-2 cars in the driveway. Take your pick from a collection of fun restaurants and an array of water adventures on Treasure Island like parasailing, jet skiing, kayaking and motorboat rentals. When it's time to head home, the Tampa Airport is located about 30-40 minutes away.
Note: the living room is of very modest size and is not meant for large gatherings. Pets allowed for an additional fee.
Perfect cozy beach bungalow
Our family loved this quaint beach home, tucked back off the main road but an easy walk to both the beach and the intercoastal for fishing. The home has everything we needed, including a fenced in back yard for the kids to roam, and the quiet neighborhood made the trip relaxing to come home to every night!- Anonymous , Posted: 4/25/2022
One of the best
This is one of the best, most well thought out, and professionally managed vacation rentals I have stayed in. The outdoor area was very nice. The entire property was well equipped.- Anonymous from Scottsdale, Posted: 4/18/2022

A perfect little place to enjoy the Gulf. The place is updated and cozy. The backyard is a slice of heaven. The Gulf is 1000 yards away but a very easy walk.- Anonymous , Posted: 9/7/2021
Cute and comfortable
We enjoyed the house-small but adequate for 2 people
Very clean-well equipped-felt safe in neighborhood- Anonymous from Olmsted Twp, Posted: 9/4/2021
Quality time with family
Spent 3 nights and 4 days in Treasure Island. This home was clean, comfortable and well stocked. Enjoyed the ‘tiki bar’ style outdoor space that has a barbecue barbecue grill. There were beach chairs and a wagon that we used to carry all to the beach which was a 10 minute walk. I would recommend this place.- Anonymous , Posted: 7/15/2021
We will be back!
Loved everything about the place and location! We will come stay there again!
LOVED the digital concierge!!!- Anonymous from Baltimore, Posted: 6/5/2021
Good place to rest the Body
Unfortunately my husband had to cancel so I went alone. I felt very safe on the street I was staying on. The property was very clean and well kept. Easy to have a dog becasue the yard is fenced in. The main drag has everything you want. I rented a bike for the week and a paddleboard. It's an island so I didn't have to paddle onthe open ocean. The beach was a walk across the street, chairs, beach towels and toys were included so didn't have to buy anything. The local people were very friendly and again I felt very safe. The managment company, Beth, checked in with me after I arrived to make sure I had everything I needed. I would definitely come back again and highly recommend staing here.- Anonymous from Dover, Posted: 6/3/2021
Great place for a beach get away!
We were in town for a swim meet at North Shore Aquatic Center (30-minutes away). We wanted to stay at the beach so we'd have something fun to do between sessions and someplace that would allow my daughter to just relax when she wasn't swimming. This was PERFECT! In terms of space - we used the family room as a 3rd bedroom for our youngest and it worked out great. We LOVED the deck/backyard space and ate outside every day. We had access to the beach (a short walk), fresh seafood (Johns Pass) & ice cream (Shake Shop) nearby. Our family of four, plus our dog had a GREAT experience! I agree with all the reviews about the lack of space to put dry groceries but we made do and it wasn't a big deal. We did have a few issues that would have made the trip a little easier - shortly before we arrived the dryer broke & wasn't going to be fixed in time for our stay. I was notified in what would have been plenty of time, but because we were already traveling it was too late. We dried clothes on a drying rack. Also, the new beach cart was nowhere to be found - Beth was quick to order a new one, but it arrived on our last full day so we didn't have it to use. The house and location were great and we'd definitely stay again. My only complaint would be the lack of cups. There were plenty of wine/margarita glasses & coffee cups, but only two drinking/highball and two juice/lowball glasses. On a personal note, I'd take more disposable stuff next time, because I hate doing dishes ;), and I think my kids used every dish in the place.- Anonymous from Lutherville , Posted: 4/20/2021
The house was great, clean, bright and everything needed. Very cozy. It had all the essentials that are needed to enjoy the stay. If something was wrong, Beth responded immediately.- Anonymous from Chaseburg, Posted: 3/23/2021
The Boardwalk beach house is very nice, this was our 2nd stay and we were just as happy as the first. It has a very convenient location; 5 minute walk to the beach, and we did not have a car so we were able to use the rental scooters on the main drag to go to the grocery store, walking distance to restaurants. Highly recommend .- Anonymous , Posted: 3/19/2021
Great location. Cute place with fabulous backyard.
We stayed at Boardwalk for the month of January. Great location. Take a few steps out of tge house to your left and you have the intercoastal. Take a few more to the right and cross Gulf boulevard and you have the beach. Loved the treasure island trail that runs two miles along the beach. With dogs this is the only way to walk the beach. Dogs are not allowed on the actual beach. House was well equipped. Kitchen had everything I needed, beach towels, extra linens, beach chairs and some beach toys. It was more than enough space for two but tight (but adequate) when we had guests (four). Best part was the backyard. Spent lots of time in the shade reading, coffee, relaxing, enjoying. Yard is fenced(lots of privacy) and very well landscaped. Grill was large, and lots of outdoor seating. Walked to two coffee cafes, some restaurants, and bars all with outdoor seating. Would stay again.- Anonymous from Prospect, Posted: 2/2/2021
Good place to stay
Very satisfied with this rental. Place was very clean and tidy, had all listed amenities. Lacked space for food storage and the microwave was hard to access on top of fridge, but everything still worked well. The outside was perfect place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. There is even a shower outside to rinse off after being at the beach which was very nice. We did have to fill the gas tank to the grill, but other than that everything was set up great. Very close to beach and shopping areas. Would stay here again easily.- Anonymous , Posted: 1/3/2021
Boardwalk beach house
Loved our stay here! House was immaculate when we arrived, a/c worked perfect. We reviewed the welcome binder and made note of activities and restaurants which was a nice touch. We couldnt get enough of the backyard seating areas, we spent every morning coffee and evening glass of wine outdoors. The showers water pressure was pleasantly strong and remained hot which was a major plus. Wifi worked fine for us the entire stay, and netflix was already set up which made it super concenient. Lastly you just cant beat the location, we walked to the beach every day. The only downside was that the coffee pot was cracked and some of the pots and pans were scratched beyond use, but one quick text to Beth and we were brought brand new kitchenware within a couple hours! We will definitely be coming back, well worth it.- Anonymous from Spring Hill, Posted: 10/4/2020We have upgraded the house Wifi to a Google mesh system and coverage is great on both TVs and all around the grounds.- Splashy Ventures staff, Posted:

Quaint and cozy little space
This home was very cute and cozy. It wasn't a good match for our family with 2 small kids who run around alot and wanted a large yard to play in. But it was still a good cottage. It was well stocked and had a nice backyard with lots of seating spaces.- Anonymous from Locust Grove, Posted: 7/15/2020Thank you Shannon. Maybe back to The Shack for you next time.- Splashy Ventures staff, Posted:
Great little cottage close to the beach
We loved the house. It had everything we needed and was walking distance to the beach. The backyard has plenty of seating so we had a nice time hanging out there. I would recommend this place if you are headed to Treasure Island.- Anonymous , Posted: 1/29/2020

Awesome beach getaway!
We all really enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable for 2 couples. The location was right across the street from the beach, and short uber rides to John's Pass and St. Pete's. Great place to enjoy a vacation
The stay at boardwalk beach house was amazing. The property was extremely clean, and had all the amenities you need. The IRS a great collection of kitchen supplies to cook, a wagon and chairs for the beach. The grilling area was a great way to unwind and not have to rely on restaurants. The publix and CVS are within driving distance and the beach is a 5 minute walk. The beach was gorgeous.- Anonymous , Posted: 4/1/2019And you came during March - THE most fabulous month!- Splashy Ventures staff, Posted:
Thumbs up to Boardwalk Beach House
Boardwalk beach house is a cozy little cottage with old Florida charm. It’s located on a quiet street just off Gulf Blvd and is walking distance to everything..the beach, restaurants, and John’s Pass. We hardly needed our car at all. The house is small, very clean and the only big negative are the beds, which are desperately in need of replacing. The furniture in the living room is in need of updating as well, but functional. The outside space was perfect for sitting and relaxing and for our dogs as well. The kitchen was stocked with the essentials, except for a dishwasher. The bathrooms were small and a little tight, but we managed just fine. Beth was quick to respond with any questions we had. We are planning another trip next year and if the beds are replaced, will definitely stay here again.- Anonymous from knoxville, Posted: 3/25/2019Thanks Laura, we have replaced the loveseat in the living room and purchased a new King mattress for the master.- Splashy Ventures staff, Posted:
florida retreat for a couple and a cat

This delightfully decorated cottage was just what we wanted for a weekend at the beach. Unfortunately, the best feature is the outdoor living space and we had a weekend of thunderstorms that kept us inside most of the time. Bedrooms were fine, but had king and queen beds when we would have preferred two twins in one. The living room couch is rattan and not very comfortable and certainly not an additional bed. It's located in a nice area with plenty of eateries a short drive away. Walking to the beach is easy, but it's a long haul from the road to water's edge, even with the help of the wagon provided. Overall, it was a nice rental on a quiet side street and we were very happy with the friendliness and professionalism of the management company.- Anonymous from Tampa, Posted: 8/23/2018Well, I'm writing my response with a smile on my face although I'm not sure how to respond to the comment about the beds. We're pretty clear in the description that there are two beds - one king and one queen, and that if a 3rd bed is needed we have a twin aero bed. So no one is expected to sleep on the sofa (which is comfortable). It does sound like the sleeping configuration was not what they were looking for, and so perhaps they should have chosen a different home. If you have concerns about the distance to the beach you'll see other comments on Boardwalk about how close it is to the beach, rather than how far it is. And they did stay just a few days during a period with a lot of rain, which is unfortunate.- Splashy Ventures staff, Posted:
We all loved the house very much. It was in the perfect location and not far from the beach. I would for sure come back again! Thanks for everything!

Beachhouse Boardwalk well worth it!!! Met expectations and more
I stayed at the Beachhouse Boardwalk with my dog for 30 night. We really had a great time:
* All the pics are accurate and it came advertised. It is clean.
* The outside area is plentiful with many sitting areas and completely enclosed for bandit to run around. I fired up the grill when I didn't feel like going to many of the great local places within walking distance.
** Bathrooms are a little small as you can see in the PIcs but Im a big guy and had no problem using them.
**The place is managed digitally. No key to get in, Check in /check out via text. Beth can see the temp/history inside the place and reached out to me and sent someone over when she saw it was too hot inside.
Overall great experience and would do it again.- Anonymous from Exeter, Posted: 7/2/2018Thanks John and I'm glad your "working vacay" went well.- Splashy Ventures staff, Posted:

We Love It Here!
We enjoyed our stay at Boardwalk Beach. This cottage sits off the main road so its quiet and cozy. The clean and inviting atmosphere makes this place feel like home. Treasure Island beach is a short walk and many attractions and events are just a few feet and/or miles away. Johns Pass 2mi, Daiquiri Shak 4mi, Mastery Brewing Co 4mi, Caddy's on the Beach 3mi, or whatever you want to do. My son and daughter in law live in St. Pete, not only did they love it my daughter in law recommended this place for her parents say in july. Give it a try we think you will like it too.- Anonymous from LOUISVILLE, Posted: 6/12/2017Thanks so much. We look forwarding to hosting you again in 2018!- Splashy Ventures staff, Posted:
