All-Around Great Stay!
The home was nearly perfect for our two-week stay. The house was very clean and everything we needed was at our fingertips. The walled-in grass back yard was perfect for our two dogs. The location is ideal -- quiet neighborhood, wide sidewalks on both sides of the streets, easy one mile access to the 101 Loop, minutes from golf courses, and plenty of shopping nearby. Our host was very nice about responding to questions and concerns. In spite of the crummy weather we experienced during our stay, this would definitely be our go-to house on our next extended stay in the Phoenix area.

Great Scottsdale Retreat
We were so happy in our weekend, Scottsdale VRBO. The location was perfect - right between the northern golf courses and Old Town Scottsdale. We had access to everything. And the neighborhood was quiet and safe.
The house was perfect. Two living spaces gave everyone room to spread out and relax. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable and everything was clean and tidy. The back yard was perfect for cocktail time, and the citrus trees were an added bonus.
Thanks to Splashy Ventures for all of their thoughtful communication and preparation. We will definitely come again.

Nice home, great location
We stayed 8 nights here and all was good. Home is well cared for, nice big yard (dog loved it) and great location. Beth communicated with us regularly and made sure that our stay was good. Probably one of the best values for a short term rental in the Scottsdale area. Highly recommend this home!

Great Vacation rental in a great location!
This vacation rental was perfect for us over New Year's! Clean and cozy. The kitchen and dining room were redone and overlook the backyard with doors opening up to it. The backyard was great for our dogs, and we had a great time! Perfect location to explore all of what Scottsdale to offer.

Comfort and Convenience in Scottsdale
My husband and I found this home very comfortable, clean, and in a convenient quiet location. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen was very well equipped, and there is a pleasant fenced back yard with furniture for lounging and grass for our dog. We appreciated the bicycles in the garage for use on the off-road paved trails very close to this neighborhood. We would highly recommend this property in north Scottsdale.

Great time in Scottsdale

Fabulous Vacation Rental

Perfect Home Away From Home
We stayed here for 5 months during our home remodel and it was the perfect place to stay. The house had everything we needed for our family of four and was in a great location. The owner Beth was very responsive whenever I had a question and took care of everything we needed right away. When the AC stopped working in 110 degree heat, Beth had a repairman fix it extremely quickly before it ever had a chance to heat up. Also, the neighbors are all very nice and friendly and the house is located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. We really enjoyed our stay here and couldn’t have found a better place to stay while we waited for our own home to be ready.

Great rental in Scottsdale!
This is a wonderful home located in a quiet community. Room enough for 3 couples and also ideal for a family. It has 2 living rooms so there's plenty of room to spread out. The backyard is very private and is surrounded by lemon trees, complete with a grill, etc. It's close to a supermarket, CVS some great restaurants and the freeway. Don't pass this one by you'll love it!

A perfect place to stay
We've been renting this home for the past six years and haven't even looked at other properties because it's just perfect for us. It's less than 30 minutes from the airport. It's a spacious with 2 separate living rooms a great big kitchen that overlooks a beautiful backyard with citrus trees and plenty of privacy. The neighborhood is quiet. It's close to the freeways, 5 minutes to the supermarket, CVS and
a number of great resturants. It has a great kitchen the owner has provided everything you need. Plus it overlooks a beautiful backyard that is well maintained and even has has some citrus trees. We play a lot of golf while we're in Arizona and this Desert Oasis is a perfect place to come home to. Try it you won't be disappointed!

The Perfect April Getaway
I am writing this review for my parents as they were the ones who stayed in the home. They stayed for two weeks while visiting their grandchildren. They were extremely happy with their experience. It had everything they would need to cook. You have a beautiful view of the backyard from the kitchen, making it easy to watch the grandkids running around in the large backyard. For small kids it is ideal because there isn't a pool that you would need to worry about. There is also plenty of shade and a hammock for lounging. My parents really enjoy relaxing as there was a large television in the main living room, family room, and the master bedroom. There are unique skylights the noticed while being in the home that had them thinking about placing the same kind in their home. The rooms were a nice size and the master bedroom has french doors that open to the backyard which is really nice. Beth was amazing with them. They called her a couple of times because of a water leak in the master bathroom. She had someone out in less than 2 hours. My mother had difficulty drying some of the clothes and Beth had someone out to replace the dryer within 24 hours. The response is key for rentals such as this because it is a house. The fact that she was very responsive and kind made a huge difference in their stay. It is difficult for my parents to stay anywhere but a hotel. This is the first time they stayed in a rental vacation home and they absolutely loved it. When they come back for longer stays I will always check to see if this home is available. The neighborhood is quite, garage is nice to have, and the location is so close to the highway/stores. Perfect spot! Beth keeps it very honest in her approach with her home. Would definitely recommend and will have my parents stay here again. Thanks Beth!

A great winter getaway!
My husband and I spent 3 months in this lovely home. The kitchen had absolutely everything we needed for meal making. We loved sitting out on either the front patio or in the backyard watching the hummingbirds, butterflies and garden come to life with blooms. We enjoyed riding the bikes that were available for our use, riding the nearby Indian Bend Wash path. Great location for restaurants and hiking too.
The house is well represented by the photos. Beth was a pleasure to work with.
Liked it so much we'll be back next year!

Desert Oasis
Once again, we enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood in the heart of Scottsdale. Beth, the owner has thought of absolutely everything you need to feel right at home. The location is perfect, you're very close to the Gainey Village shops which has a good Italian restaurant, a great Thai restaurant and a pub.Plus, you can hop on the 101 & 202 loop in minutes. The kitchen has everything you need. And with 2 living rooms you can spread out. Great for a family. The backyard is very private surrounded by citrus trees as well as a manicured lawn a rare find! It truly is an oasis in the desert. This was our fourth time staying here and it feels like home!

The Desert Oasis is a very nice home in a very quiet neighborhood setting with easy access to shopping, grocery and Total Wine and More! We had grandchildren who did sleep-overs with Gpa and Gma, with the tile floors throughout there was little worry of the mess little one can make. The enclosed back yard was made to order for the grandkids and our family pet. The kitchen and pantry were stocked with everything needed for meal prep. We had a problem with the cable box, Beth was very helpful with providing information needed to deal with the service provider. We have visited our grandkids & family several times and the Desert Oasis is by far the best accommodations we have rented. We look forward to being able to rent again in the future.

The Perfect Desert Destination
We enjoyed a wonderful month in this comfortable home located in the perfect location. We loved being within 5 to 10 minutes of great shopping and a variety of restaurants. The access to the 101 made getting to and from the airport easy.
The neighborhood is great for walking, running, biking and everyone in the area was very friendly.
This home had everything we needed and we enjoyed the spacious backyard. We liked being able to have our dogs with us too.
The property manager communicated with us before our stay to be sure we had all of the information necessary to make our visit comfortable.

A Nice Quiet Oasis
We spent a very pleasant 10 days here in March. Its location is perfect and the neighborhood is quiet. Close to good restaurants and shopping and easy access to highways. The house is well supplied, especially the kitchen. It would have been nice to have a BBQ with a full tank upon arrival.

Great house and location
Booked this place for a long weekend golf trip for myself and a few golf buddies. The house was in a great location and was convienent to the golf courses and shopping. Was the perfect substitute and much more suitable than a hotel room. Would book again if we head back to Scottsdale.

Desert Oasis Property Review
Overall, it was perfect for us! One thing that would be helpful is a "Tips" sheet to potential renters. Nearest grocery store & drug store, bring your own bath soap (we just happened to have a little bar of soap from a hotel which got us by until we located a grocery store), a easy to read bulleted checklist of what we need to do before leaving (we had to get out the agreement and read through the fine print). Most vacation rentals have a checklist, for example:
Remove sheets and place in laundry basket located in the laundry room.
Remove towels and place in laundry basket located in the laundry room.
Empty trash.
Turn off air conditioner.
Close and lock all doors to the exterior.
These are just examples - not exactly related to your property. It would just be nice to have a checklist on the kitchen counter for the renter to feel comfortable that we have done everything as expected.

Excellent Place
The Desert Oasis property in Scottsdale is a great place to stay. My wife and I and another couple stay at this property for the first week of Mar 2014. The property is in a good location, safe, handy to shopping restaurants, spring training, and highways. This property is in very nice condition, nice furniture, good beds, well equipped kitchen. There is a large backyard with a sitting area, citrus trees and a gas BBQ. We would certainly stay here again. I have no negative comments to make.

Family Wedding Reunion
Memebers of my family travelled from all over the world for a family wedding in Phoenix. The house could not have been better equipped and was in an ideal location for access to the airport and all parts of Scottsdale and Phoenix. The area was extremely quiet and the house itself was spacious and had a beautiful garden. The house came with cable/satelite TVs, WiFi and even a computer. It was a home away from home.

Awesome Property
Went to Arizona to participate in P F Chang Rock N Roll Half Marathon. I also have family located in Arizona. The location of the property was very convienent relating to Sky Harbor Airport, the start of the marathon, and family members. I was accompanied by my wife, daughter, and daughter's friend. The rental property was the perfect size, 3 bedrooms, family room, oversize kithchen. The property was clean and also had 3 TV's and wifi. I would definitely rent this property again and refer it to family and friends.

Perfect home for families and couple(s)
We had a wonderful month in Desert Oasis. It certainly lives up to its name as an oasis in the desert - it is spacious, clean, comfortable and well equipped. The house soon feels like your home. The garden is like an oasis too - lush and green with many plantings and citrus trees (unfortunately we were too early to be able to taste the fruit!). The garden offers a lot of room for children to play (as does the interior of the house) and the patio is a pleasant place to sit and relax. The neighborhood is residential, quiet and safe. There are many pleasant walks to be taken directly from the house and within a mile you can find the Scottsdale Green Belt. Nearby are many restaurants and all the amenities that you might be looking for. We used Off the Grid Fitness less than a mile away on North Scottsdale Road. The home is centrally located and it is easy to get to most parts of Scottsdale within 10 - 15 minutes.
We loved staying here, found it hard to leave and hope to return.
